From an early age, Sarah was captivated by the creative act of shaping space. Her childhood was spent drawing, painting, and designing projects in every corner of her home—an early expression of what would become a lifelong commitment to design. At 13, while studying Architecture at Gulliver Preparatory School, she was introduced to the full spectrum of design disciplines, from industrial design to urban planning, solidifying her path forward.

Sarah went on to play Division 1 Volleyball at the University of New Mexico while studying Pre-Professional Architecture. It was during these years that she discovered her true calling: Interior Design. She recognized its unique power to shape how people experience their environments—the intimate scale where design directly touches daily life. This realization led her to transfer to the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Design in Interior Design.

Named one of the Top 100 Design Graduates in North America by Metropolis Magazine, Sarah began her career at Shim Projects, a Miami-based commercial design firm, where she developed her expertise in boutique hospitality and multifamily projects under the mentorship of Annhy Shim.

In 2022, Sarah founded Studio Lobo (originally Lobo Interiors) with her first project: designing Tremble Midtown Pilates Studio from concept to completion. What began as a single commission quickly evolved into a multidisciplinary practice. Over the past three years, the studio has expanded to encompass high-end residential design, boutique hospitality projects, and a bespoke furniture collection—all rooted in Sarah's belief that the most compelling spaces feel collected over time, not decorated in a moment.

Sarah's work has been featured in British Vogue. She is known for her expressive, curated approach to design—creating interiors and furniture with soul, depth, and narrative. Every project reflects her commitment to craft, storytelling, and designing spaces meant to be lived in fully.
